Proximity Switches and Proximity Sensors

Anderson-Bolds stocks a wide range of Proximity Switches by Carlo Gavazzi, Autonics, ATC, and Pepperl+Fuchs. We carry Inductive Proximity Switches, Capacitive Proximity Switches, and NAMUR Proximity Switches.

Anderson-Bolds offers a comprehensive range of inductive proximity switches - primarily used to detect metal parts and objects. We offer inductive proximity sensors in both plastic and metal housings (long or short). Connection is via a built-in 2 meter cable or a quick disconnect plug.

We also offer a comprehensive range of capacitive proximity sensors which detect most materials - conductive and non-conductive. Capacitive proximity switches are ideal for detecting liquid levels and plastics. Connection is via a built-in 2 meter cable or a quick disconnect plug.

Both Capacitive and inductive proximity switches/sensors are offered in 2, 3 or 4 wire outputs in AC or DC switching.

NAMUR inductive sensors are designed for use in hazardous (potentially explosive) areas. When connected to an approved intrinsic safety barrier they provide a 100% safe method of monitoring valve position, flow rates and a variety of other critical processes. Unlike explosion-proof sensors, NAMUR sensors do not require a protective wiring conduit.
